There is a new authentic Mexican restaurant in Painesville, La Flor. They are in the same space previously held by El Lobo.

Ay, caramba! That is a really dorky thing to say. I apologize for starting off this post in that manner, I’m a real embarrassment.

There is some sort of upheaval occurring in the Painesville authentic Mexican restaurant arena. One of my favorite restaurants of all time, El Lobo, has apparently gone out of business. Their former location is now occupied by a restaurant by the name of La Flor. Jason from drinkingcleveland.com visited La Flor last week and he reports that all of the people that used to work at El Chiles (Walnut St.) were working at this new establishment.

Maybe El Lobo was going under and they sold their interest to whomever owned El Chiles? Maybe El Lobo closed and opened up under a new company for tax purposes. Maybe Jason was so drunk that he imagined all of this?

Who knows for sure. Maybe you do. What’s the skinny on these Mexican restaurants in Painesville
