As someone that works in the Mayfield area (yes, I do have a real job), I find nothing more annoying than trying to decide between the same three restaurants for lunch.  Unfortunately, the offerings from those restaurants are either very boring or full of processed garbage that isn’t worth the money.  I’ve always wondered why it is so difficult for restaurants to serve fresh food that tastes good?

I ordered the chicken arrabiata and it was just pathetic.  I like spicy foods a great deal and the heat in this dish was nice, but it was prepared so half-assed.

Here is a quick walkthrough of the cook preparing this dish: cook chicken breast in pan, throw in a handful of peppers, pour in some marinara sauce, sprinkle with pepper flakes and garnish with two cherry peppers.  Bing, bang, boom.  Joey Buttafuco.  Gimmie your $16!

Arrabiata’s is capable of turning out better product than that.
