Paladar. My girlfriend and I went there this weekend after reading your site
(I check it often to get the scoop on new places) and we loved it.
The chef’s inspiration guacamole was amazing, had a mango theme.
Casey, my girlfriend, had the pork tenderloin, while I had the
slow-roasted pork. Both were wonderful. Thanks for the tip.

I physically laughed with you on your blog, man. And although I have
only been to Cleveland once on a conference but I loved it.  I wish I
had your guidance.

Cavatelli. Best recipe with great “how to” pictures.  I made these and they were delicioso.  I used to roll with my fingers but using the pastry cutter was much easier.  These are my daughter’s favorite and she’s coming for dinner today.  Thanks for making it a lot easier to do and now……..mangia, mangia!!

You’re right…it was special in its own way. Comparing the Harvard Deli, Slyman’s, and Goodman’s Sandwich Inn side-by-side..Harvard Deli is the least expensive of the three and unbelievably, it DOES beat Slymans. This corned beef was so good; it wasn’t salty, fatty, or artificially red. It had nothing to prove, it is the real deal. When I went in there to order, the machinery was gleaming clean, the guy had gloves on, and he pulled a fresh, lean, warm brisket out to slice. The slices were REAL slices, not chipped up and fluffy to look bigger. My husband said “good thing I don’t work over here, I’d be as big as a house”, so thanks for a great lunch recommendation!

Yo Mark,
Recipe looks awesome.  I’m about to embark my first pierogie making missing after years of waiting for my Grandmom to get off her lazy ass or trolling the Polish markets in Philly. I’m sure these will be hit of the Super Bowl party I’m going to.

p.s. Great move with the pictures.  Was worried about how thick / think to roll it out.

I owe my visit to P & P to EatingCleveland.com (read about it in one of your pizza posts) as being new to the area, it could take years to eat at all the pizza joints around here.  So a big thank you to you Mark from both me and my expanding waistline!
