Have made this bread a few times now....this time using whole wheat flour. It is an ultra easy recipe and also very tasty for when you are craving that yummy homemade bread taste. Also makes the whole house smell great as it's baking.

Delicious. My mom still makes bread and it's like nothing I have ever had before. I'm glad I came across your page, I live close to the Cleveland area and love to highlight my favorite things about it on my website.

Mark - thanks for this blog - I ahve been using my bread machine to make pizza dough, but it looks just as easy to do it with the food processor, and i can increase the amount to get more dough. BTW- good luck on the weight loss. With your shring it on the blog, I am rooting for you and wish you success. I am not overweight (unless you look at my BMI... that says I need to lose 20 pounds) but I empathize with your goal! You can do it...!

I love Mark Bittman and have the "How to Cook Everything" book. Thank you for this great and easy recipe. BTW... I'm not a blue-haired old lady and I love making (and eating) bread. Thanks again, can't wait to give it a try!
