peanut butter

Who doesn’t love Peanut Butter?   If you’ve followed my previous posts, you’ll know that I grew up in Venezuela.  Now in the early 90’s it was hard to find a lot of American imported foods, but we were lucky enough to have peanut butter available in the local grocery store.  Most people when think of Peanut Butter immediately think of Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches. I know that’s the first thing that comes to my mind.  I remember there came a time when I was so tired of Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches I didn’t want to be anywhere near either ingredient…

There are so many other ways to indulge in Peanut Butter, not just with it’s buddy jelly.

1. Ants on a log

2. Peanut butter and banana sandwich

3. Fantastic French Toast

4. Peanut Butter Bread

5. Baked Chicken Fingers with Thai Peanutty sauce

How about reviewing Peanut Butter alternatives? My daughter has a peanut allergy, but my other daughter and I love the stuff. We have lately settled on keeping Sunbutter in the pantry – a butter made from sunflower seeds. The soy stuff was not good, nor that Italien stuff made from hazelnuts and chotolate – too sweet. I review of alternative by a peanut butter lover would be credible!
