I had previously written to tell you about a new restaurant in Mayfield called Go! Bistro.
I had Go! Bistro cater sandwiches for my son’s baptism party a few weeks ago and I just had to tell you how great it was.
While they have a big selection available for catered events I wanted to stick with simple items so I ordered a variety of sandwiches. There were turkey, chicken salad, roast beef and even sliced chicken.
Being a gracious host, I ate last and I will tell you that by the time I got to the table virtually every person at the party had asked me where I had gotten the sandwiches. Everyone was blown away by not only how delicious they were, but also too that they were so fresh.
I had a bit of every kind and each was fantastic. Go! Bistro’s fresh ingredients shined through and these were unlike any sandwich I had ever had before. Not only that, but they were presented nicely so there was less work for me. A lazy fat man always appreciates less work.
If you have an event coming up where you need some delicious sandwiches or salads, give Go! Bistro a call. The food is amazing and you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve eaten at Go Bistro quite a few times and haven’t had a bad meal. the management and staff really want patrons to enjoy their meals. They’ve made some great changes to the restaurant based on customer feedback (bigger burgers, appetizers, and more vegetarian items!) and continue to fine tune their menu and service. They recently sent out an e-newsletter and plan on changing a few items based on comments they’ve received. Kudos to them for really providing great food and excellent service. I really enjoy the Turkey Havarti (without turkey – I’m a vegetarian) sandwich/salad combo, but I’ve eaten with other people who have enjoyed the soups and pastas, too.

Amanda and I went there for dinner and it was very very good. I ordered the Roast Beef Sandwhich and Amanda ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad, and we split. While the Roast Beef was great, fresh veggies, lean meat on sour dough bread, the salad was fantastic, the citric cilantro dressing was to die for. We are contemplating using them to cater Amanda’s baby shower. Right now they are at the top of the list.
