With a 1 and 1/2 year old toddler walking and running through the house, I have found certain non messy finger foods for  her to have for snack, that she absolutely loves.  One of these are Animal Crackers.  We were able to find a large tub of the Stauffer’s brand of Animal Crackers at the Sam’s Club closet to our house, for a very decent price.  I know my daughter loves them, but I find myself addicted to these little crackers. I also found myself wondering how many different animals are in the whole large tub we bought. 

Animal crackers are crackers in the shapes of animals, some brands of which are sweetened. These are usually animals one would see at the zoo or circus, including lions, tigers, bears, and elephants. There is debate about whether or not animal crackers are actually crackers or cookies. They are like crackers due to the way they are made, with layered dough, however the use of sweetened dough gives them the cookie taste and consistency.

So after pulling out cracker by cracker I found the following different shapes. Yes I was just a little bit bored one Saturday afternoon.   Now the next task was figuring out which animal is which.  I figured out that one of them was a camel, one was an elephant, I’m thinking one is either a horse or a donkey. I think there might be a bear and a rhinoceros… But that leaves quite a few un-named animals. Definitely hoping you guys can help me with this grand dilemma.
