A while back we asked you for some input on the best All-Night Diner in Cleveland.  The responses were great, but all of them were on the West Side.

Reader Ben wrote in asking if you guys knew of any all-night diners on the East side of Cleveland?

Let him know in the comments.

Jim’s Open Kitchen on Aurora Rd in Solon (limited hours, but very cheap and delicious, CASH only)

Mom’s Diner on Miles Rd in Solon (don’t know if it’s open 24 hours)

The Silver Spartan Diner is right next to That Place on Bellflower (now L’Albatros). The hours vary depending on if it’s during the school year or over the summer.

I don’t think there are any 24 hour diners on the East Side – apart from maybe chains like Steak and Shake, IHOP or Denny’s. I’ve never really thought about it, but it’s true. Jim’s Open Kitchen is only open until 2 PM. Mom’s Diner isn’t open 24 hours and isn’t even open for dinner on certain days. Both are excellent choices for diners during regular breakfast and lunch hours.

CJ’s Cafe on Euclid Ave in Willoughby is open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday night. They have the best corned beef and their breakfasts are great as well.

Big Al’s off of Shaker Square is to die for. Great omlettes! We didn’t have a chance to try the pancakes this time around, but looks like a must do….We found out about it through a restaurant critic.

Cheap and a great cast of characters that are there!

Anyone know if the Red Chimney on Fleet is still open 24hrs? I seem to be remembering going there really late one night after… uhh… Bible Camp. Which happened to be at the bottom of a few bottles of tequila.
