Of course there are variations, but here&#039;s the basic recipe for flan.

1. Caramelize some sugar and pour it into the bottom of your baking dish

2. Mix together egg yolks, condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla.

3. Pour into your baking dish and pop it in the oven for about an hour.
