You may say that there are a million and one web sites or blogs that have restaurant reviews on them. Restaurantica is one in a million.  This is definitely not an ordinary restaurant review site as the readers are the ones who are writing the reviews.  Restaurantica has reviews not only in the USA but also in Canada.  When you open this web site you will be quite surprised and pleased. The site not only provides the viewer with reviews on their favorite restaurants, it also provides important information pertaining to the restaurants such as addresses, phone numbers, maps.
 
A few neat facts about the site;  Restaurantica receives over 700,000 visitors each month and are members of the NRA (United States National Restaurant Association) and CRFA (Canadian Restaurant and Food services Association).  There are currently over 350,000 restaurant reviews posted on the site.

When I went on Restaurantica for the first time want really drew me in was the way the site is laid out. It has a very modern look to it, but still easy to navigate. Looking at the main page gives you a glimpse of what the whole site is about. At the very top there at two search fields, one to search by “name” and the other allows you to search by the city and state.  You also can click on one of the states they have listed. This directs you to a list of all the cities within that State.  When you click on your city of choice it guides you to a list of all the restaurants within that city. Back on the main page you also get to see a few of the most recent reviews that have been posted by readers.   Not only can you just check the website once in a while, but you can join the Restaurantica by creating and account.  Your account on the site is tailored to your dining needs, to only give you information of what’s in your area.  This helps you log on real quick and check what’s in your are without having to any extra time, all the information you are looking for is right there in front of you.

Of course since we are in the Cleveland area I wanted to check out what they were saying about our neck of the woods.  I read through the reviews of some of my favorite restaurants and was happy to see that they were all serious reviews.  Thought they were not all reviews I agreed with I can tell that the readers of Restaurantica are serious readers who are looking to make sure that the dining experience is the best for everyone.
