You want to know what drives me absolutely crazy? My mother-in-law.

I kid.  I’m here all week. country bob's all purpose sauce

Seriously, what drives me crazy is when you get a bunch of people together for dinner and you ask, “So, where should we go to eat?”  Inevitably, if there are ten people, all ten will say something along the lines of, “Oh, I don’t care, whatever.”  Sweet mother!

I can’t stand that wishy-washy garbage.  You’re not a politician, so state your opinion, I’ll still be your pal. That was exactly how I felt when I opened the package containing my samples of Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce

All purpose sauce? Aww, come on man. What in the hell does that mean?

Can I clean my bicycle with it?  What about kill the weeds in my garden?  Stain my picnic table?

Country Bob’s Real Purpose

Once I got past my little problem with the naming of this sauce, I decided to put Country Bob’s baby through the ringer. The first key to enjoying this sauce is shaking it well.  If not properly shaken the sauce is quite sweet, but the shaking ensures an even distribution of the delicious herbs and spices.

Trying the sauce straight up, it immediately reminded me of A1, with a thinner consistency.  While it reminded me of A1, it was much different. A1 has a very deep and rich flavor, Country Bob’s is lighter in the mouth, but spicier and longer lasting.

I had a cookout and I tried Country Bob’s sauce on just about everything.  It was really fantastic on burgers and other cuts of beef.  While I thought it would be too much for chicken it did alright even when used as a basting liquid on some of that fine bird.  The only thing I had it on that didn’t work out quite well was french fries, it just didn’t jive.

Final Take

Country Bob’s All Purpose sauce is really quite good and a great alternative to those other steak sauces you’ve got in your fridge. I really think you ought to give it a try. They also have other products in their product line like seasoning salt and barbecue sauce, all of which can be purchased online.  I’ve also heard too from friends that enjoyed the product that they’ve seen it on sale at the Save-a-Lot stores here in Northeastern Ohio.

Pick up a bottle, you’ll be surprised what all you can do with it.  Note though, it won’t stain your picnic table.

First things first, you need to have a bike to use this all-purpose sauce on your bike. If your physique matches mine in any capacity, we both have bikes whose tires scream when we sit our rumps down on those extra-sized seats we had to put on. All kidding aside, how do you get all of these samples?

Sauces, I love ‘em, especially some BBQ sauces. I like Famous Dave’s Georgia Mustard sauce… yuuuuuummmmm yuuuuuummmmm. However, I’ve noted that the sauce in the bottle is not as good as the sauce at the restaurant. I think this is a trend as they have to put preservatives in the bottled version and I wonder if they are making the stuff for their eateries on site.

Same holds true for Bubba Q’s. I’ve had the sauce from the bottle, and disliked it… but get it at his place, its outstanding. I think you should make your way west to Bubba Q’s and check it out. Call Al before you come and let him know you are from Eating Cleveland and I am sure he’ll set you up!
