		<description>Canning is pretty easy.  You sterilize everything in the dishwasher and then, while everything is still hot put in whatever you need to can.  Put on the lids and slide it into boiling water.  About 10 minutes later, you&#039;ve got some preserved foods on your hands.

A box of a dozen jars with lids are about $8 - $10.  But you can reuse the jars and tighteners.</description>
