		<description>I doubt the FDA is a joke.  They do far much more than inspect fruits and vegetables.  They also set guidelines for drugs, monitor medical equipment manufacturers to ensure that when you step into an MRI that you are not killed, and much, much, more.

You are correct, there are many isolated cases which do not draw attention because they are isolated.  In the instances of what has been going on lately, it is more than isolated cases, so they FDA is making an attempt to find the cause, which they themselves is very difficult to pinpoint due to the many entry points of product.

You can complain about the FDA all you like, but as for me I appreciate their efforts.  The last thing I need is a marketplace like the streets of India.</description>
