ahahahaha this happened to my husband I believe around this time. He just couldn't believe it either. We had a pretty good laugh about it at the time. Their chicken is really too greasy for me but he loves their cole slaw over any other place.

Fresh, good chicken does not favor late night diners. Call ahead.

Love that chicken from Popeyes! The only good thing about Mr. Chicken is that it smells good from a mile away...so they must be making some small amount of chicken for one or two people lucky enough to make it there on time. My hubby goes there to order fried chicken livers (uughhhh).

Should MR. CHICKEN have chicken AT ALL TIMES.... honestly... I've never been to KFC and had them say:

"sorry... we're all out of chicken"

And... why exactly does MR. CHICKEN serve fish??? Does anyone else find this to be a little bit strange?

Your experience is amusing, yes...

Did you go late at night? Chicken is made in batches and as it gets close to closing, they tend to cut back on what's prepared. Fried chicken, unlike a hamburger, can't be cooked in just a couple of minutes. I've been at Mr. Chicken in Willoughby when I've had to wait ten minutes for fresh chicken because I came in late and wanted something that wasn't ready.

Are they actually saying that they are all out of ANY AND ALL kind of chicken??? To honest Mr. Chicken's regular fried chicken is nothing to bend over backwards for but I have to say, their "boneless chicken wings" have to be the best I have had anywhere. Real breast meat and decent size pieces too! Not just mostly breading over a stingy little piece of dried up meat like at the other big named chicken place.
