This is the best food I have had in long, long, time. I travel all over the United States and live in Orange County, California. The food this chef prepared compares and sometimes exceeds the Montage and Ritz Carlton. The appetizers was phenomenal. The frog legs were delicious, the seafood appetizers were the freshest I have ever had. The sauces for all the food is a big part of the attraction. The bread and biscuits were awesome. I had the kobe beef with a cranberry sauce that was killer. the kobe was cooked perfectly, the sauce complimented the food. The brussels sprouts with crumbled bacon was wonderful and I normally hate brussels sprouts but they were so fresh and cooked perfectly, I actually ate all my brussel sprouts. The pecan chocolate tart was the best dessert. The "house" pinot noir was one of the best wines I have ever had. Simply wonderful. The only negative is the food takes time to prepare so it is not a place to go to if you are in hurry. The atmosphere with twinkling lights, hanging plants is simply wonderful. I will be talking about this restaurant for a long, long, time. I hope this chef opens one in California, we sorely need it. Kim

This place is phenomenal! It IS the only low country cuisine in the area. It has a menu you wouldn't find anywhere else. Starting with appetizers of "hots" or "colds" which includes she crab soup, fried green tomatoes (yum!) clams, oysters. Meals are mostly remarkable and different seafood dishes as well as buttermilk fried chicken. Awesome. For people who won't settle for good food but rather want outstanding, different, creative cuisine, this is the place to go. I don't know who said the geriatrics are out "en force", but not at Henry's. It's upscale, classy and the place to be seen.

I have ate there several times and the food is above average. Yes its pricey but you get what you pay for. Red Lobster isn't cheap and they only wish they could touch this place. I will go back for sure

I have. It's amazingly almost above average. It's not bad, and it's not remarkable. It's like a place you'd go to with your grandmother to eat dinner, because it's food she'd like. The geriatrics are usually out en force.
