We went to the food show 3 years ago, the last time Alton Brown was there. We had the same experience with the never ending conga line. We actually did not go this time because of the over crowded experience we had last time (and it was kind of expensive). I am glad to hear that the Alton show was good. One of the things that impressed me most about him was that he just seemed like an ordinary kinda cool, kinda geeky kind of guy. Rachael Ray on the other hand did not make such a great impression.

I was at the food show at the same time you were. The snaking lines were horrible. I couldn't believe how crowded it eventually got. We were supposed to see Giada, but by the time we got to the line, there were more people then could be accepted. I did get to see Jason Roberts, whose show was almost empty. The show was fun to watch. There were some great booths, but again, the crowds took some of the joy away. Overall, good show this year.
