Before I even say anything, yes, I know I’m a moron for ordering paella at Max and Erma’s and expecting something edible, but my feeling still holds true that if its on the menu, it should be good. This paella didn’t even earn itself a spot on the mediocre list, it was just plain bad.
You could tell that everything was cooked separately and then thrown together to make the dish which is the exact opposite of what makes a paella so good in the first place. The ingredients were also garbage. Last time I checked Spanish chorizo wasn’t just pieces of spicy hot dog. The asparagus was nice and crunchy though, oh wait. Nevermind, it too was terrible, like eating tree bark. Avoid the paella at Max and Erma’s if at all possible.
