Kenny -- Um, I think this is a different restaurant. This one is in CLEVELAND! And it's not a chain.

Mi Pueblo is one on my favorite Mexican restaurants. We live in Pittsburgh. We often make the two hour trek just for their tacos. My husband is from Mexico. He said it is one of the most authenic.

I have to comment on the chicken soup not fitting into the Mexican theme. On the contrary, every dinner in a Mexican household starts with sopa. It might be chicken soup, or a tomato soup with pasta, or it might be rice. So it's extremely authentic. On the negative side, about 5 years ago I went to Mi Pueblo and bought both red and green salsa to go. It was so bad I threw it out! Why do Amerimex restaurants insist on cooking green salsa? I never went back. I went to the Lorain branch-your pics look so good I might try the Euclid one.

I love Mi Pueblo! It's not my vote for favorite Mexican in town, but it's definitely worth a visit. I haven't been there in over a year and now i'm hungry to go back. Glad you enjoyed it. Great blog, too.
